Mornings with Molly: A Look at What Her Typical Morning Looks Like

By Mollysims.com

A typical morning in Molly’s day-to-day life begins at 6:00 am. The first thing she does in the morning is check Daily Mail. Staying up to date is a must, so odds are you’ll find her scrolling the news with the crazy Stuber clan lying alongside her, (obviously, that includes Magic and Ruby). She then checks her calendar to get an idea of what her day is looking like and makes a mental to-do list. The rest of the fam follows suit shortly after, Grey always being the last.

Molly then heads downstairs and gets her daily workout in. It’s officially been a year since her back surgery and though she’s still recovering, she’s starting to get back into this healthy habit. Her typical workout routine consists of a mix of cardio and reformer pilates. Her go-to has been Forma Pilates with Erika Rae. It’s such a good start to the day, both physically and mentally! Working out is something Molly consciously tries to make time for every day. It’s 30-45 minutes devoted just to herself and her well-being, without any distractions.

After her workout, Molly hops into the shower. Then, the best part- it’s time for skincare. Molly swears by her simple 4-step YSE Beauty morning routine. Yes, she uses her own product on a daily basis. It’s that good. Remember ladies, consistency is key! The morning routine consists of the Take it Off Cleanser, Your Favorite Ex Exfoliating Pads (that keep getting sold out because they’re so amazing), Morning Cocktail Vitamin C Serum, and the Skin Glow SPF 30 Primer.

After she gets dressed, she heads down to the kitchen to have her morning coffee and pack the kids’ snacks for school. Molly’s morning coffee is a pot of coffee with a lot (and we mean a lot) of cinnamon in it, topped off with her favorite, Califa Farms Vanilla Almond Milk. Having cinnamon in the morning may help regulate blood sugar levels, improve cognitive function, and boost metabolism. Some snacks the kids love (that are also healthy and non toxic) include the MadeGood Chocolate Chip Soft Baked Cookies, YumEarth Organic Gummy Bears, and Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers.

Molly has been very into habit-stacking recently. Habit stacking is basically stacking different steps of your routine and doing them simultaneously to save time. So while she’s having her coffee, she’s also packing the kids’ snacks, and maybe also listening to a podcast. It really allows her to get so many more things done in such a short time. She learned this tip when she hosted the lovely Yola Robert on Lipstick on the Rim

When the kids are finally dressed and ready for school (and probably already late), they’ll head downstairs for a quick bite to eat and spend some quality time with Magic, Ruby, and Taco (their bearded dragon). It’s a full house! Brooks, Scarlett, and Grey are all involved in extra-curriculars so Molly double checks to make sure they have everything they need for their after school practices. Off to school they go!

8:30 a.m.

After she gets some things done around the house, if she has time, Molly will apply a little but of makeup for the day, especially if she has meetings. Her make-up non-negotiables are the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, the Eye Want You Mascara, and YSE Beauty Vacation Glow Highlighter Stick. And off to the office she goes. It’s going to be another long day- she’ll probably need her new eye cream for a little mid-day reset.
