“Spring break is calling my name,” exclaims Molly. “And I am so excited. Is there anything better than a quick little trip to a great beach destination? I think not! Okay, get ready, people. I get asked questions about my vacation looks a lot. I also have the best guests with me today. We’re chatting about spring break vacation essentials and the trends we’ll be seeing this spring. We are sharing it all, from travel hacks to the fashion essentials we bring on every trip! And I have 2 of my best girlfriends with me. I have Mary Alice and Andrea Lublin.”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Perfecting Your Packing Game

Molly asks the ladies if they have a specific packing technique for luggage and organization. Molly explains that she loves using the Mark and Graham packing cubes. Andrea explains, “there is no organization or detail to how I organize my suitcase. I’m literally sitting on my bag, and my husband is zipping it. However, there is definitely a formula to my summertime packing for what I’m bringing.” Her summertime packing formula goes as follows. “I always bring long dresses, short dresses, a couple of bikinis and a few one-pieces, a pair of white jeans and jean shorts, a button-down, a great sweat set, pajamas, and a coverup. I love vacation fashion because it’s so edited. You know what you have. You love every piece you bring. There’s no noise.”

“Style your outfits before you pack them.”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On The Must-Have Bathing Suits

Andrea describes, “I personally am becoming more of a one-piece girl rather than a two-piece girl. If I’m wearing a two-piece, it’s probably going to be high-waisted, and I’m really into a cutout right now. I feel like that’s the happy medium between the one-piece and the two-piece. You still get that peekaboo without worrying about layers.”

“I will say cheeky is happening. The high cut is in, along with high waisted and cutouts. Hunza G has done a great job at cornering the market with their material that is one size fits all. And it’s super flattering and great to mix and match. I also love Bond-Eye – it’s a take on the HunzaG, at a great price point, and they have tons of different colors. They have bikinis for everyone, and it’s so easy to mix and match.”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Go-To Coverups

“I’m still on my flowy coverups or a button-down classic,” Andrea says. “I love all coverups that bring out the boho chic in me. I also love white Shorts – they’re so crisp and classic, and they look great with a high-waisted bathing suit. Agolde, Citizen, and Zimmerman have some of my favorites. It’s also always good to have blue jean shorts. The light shades are very in at the moment.”

Molly mentions, “I love a boyfriend shirt, and I’ve noticed that we see sarongs again, which I’m loving. I also love a great striped sweater. They’re always a classic, and they make you look put together.” Mary Alice describes how she loves to put a scarf over a bathing suit. She also mentions, “crochet dresses are in along with really bright dresses.”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Vacation Dresses

“So dresses, let’s move onto dresses,” says Molly. “I love me a good dress. Floral. Puff sleeves. Great print. And I’m obsessed. I usually look for a striking floral print with great, bright colors, which are everywhere for spring. Also, you can never go wrong with a fabulous slip dress. I love a great slip dress. Andrea explains that not everything has to be designer.

“You want to be the chic girl next door, but you also want to be relatable.”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Travel Friendly Shoes

“So let’s chat shoes,” exclaims Molly. “Shoes are so important for an outfit. There’s nothing better than a killer shoe to match your already fabulous outfit. And I recently learned this from a really good friend Megan O’Brien – but there is this company called Alohas, and they do all the best dupe shoes. You have to check it out.” The ladies discuss the importance of a great white sneaker and the slides you need this year.

“Elevate Your Flip Flop Game”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Leveling Up On Your Hat Game

“You can’t go on vacation without a sun hat,” explains Andrea. They’re cute, can elevate your outfit, but more importantly, they shade you from the sun. PSA: Even when you’re wearing a hat, SPF is essential.

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] The 411 On Beach Bags

The ladies chat about motherhood and how all you need is a large beach bag. They discuss how their kids are at the age where they don’t need to bring all their toys, which is such a relief.

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Vacay-Chic  Beauty

So we have to chat about beauty and traveling. Let’s first start with the body glow. Everyone wants to glow on vacation. You have that fresh tan at the end but maybe not as much towards the beginning.”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Easy Vacation Makeup

So when you’re on vacation you’re looking for easy makeup. You want to look great, but you also don’t want to spend hours doing it.

“Vacation makeup AKA Less is more.”

[Andrea, Mary Alice, & Molly] On Vacation Hair Hacks

“I put my hair mask in my hair, put it up in a slicked-back bun, put on a great red lip, and head out to dinner. I love doing this because it’s good for my hair and it looks chic,” explains Molly. Andrea shares that she can’t live without the Oribe Texturizing Spray and the Ouai Pomade.
