Morning Rituals: Snuggle Time!!

We have the BEST morning ritual at our house that started when Brooks was a just a teeny tiny baby. Early in the mornings I would bring Brooks into bed with Scott and I for a little snuggle. It was, and still is the perfect start to our day!!

A bit of time to enjoy a few Zen moments together as a family before the busy day takes us away off into our own separate directions. Now that Brooks is in school and I’m pregnant with baby #2, I value this morning ritual even more. There is nothing better than an AM cuddle with my sweet angel!! Half asleep snuggles that turn into giggles, reading stories and playing together. Truly moments I will cherish for the rest of my life.

We all know that time passes in the blink of an eye and I want to make sure I do my very best to be present and enjoy these magic moments. There really is something incredibly infectious about a child’s giggle. How can you be grumpy or get up on the wrong side of the bed when this cute little monkey is harassing you?!?

Cooler weather has arrived; I’m loving fall and ready to head into the winter months.
