Kitchen Matters

So happy Pamela Salzman finally came out with a cookbook this year! She has taught me so much in the kitchen and her recipes are AMAZINGLY delicious.

My Father's Daughter

Any Gwyneth Paltrow Cookbooks (My Father’s Daughter, It’s All Easy): Gwyneth is always #goals. Her recipes are super fresh and great for entertaining.

Weelicious

Weelicious by Catherine McCord: Great recipes for kids that the entire family will love!

'Plenty' by Yotam Ottolenghi: Yummy veggies recipes to spice up your meatless meals.

'Superfood Cookbooks' by Julie Morris: Want to know more about superfoods but don’t know where to start? Buy Julie’s cookbooks and you can thank me later.

'Make It Ahead' by Ina Garten: Ina Garten: This is one of my favorite cookbooks of hers, especially for those hectic weeknights.

'The Whole 30' by Melissa & Dallas Hartwig: The Whole30 diet has been beneficial for so many people! Cut out the bad stuff and stick with the good... but in an easy way.

Cooking Tools

I think of cutting boards as an investment. The better the wood, the better it will stand the wear and tear. These Edward Wohl cutting boards are pricey but they can be doubled as a serving tray, too!

Breville Tea Kettle

I’m a big tea drinker so a tea kettle is a must. I also use it to warm the water for my baby’s formula. I like to think of it as a kitchen hack, for sure!

Breville XX Juicer

I love making juice at home. You’re able to see exactly what’s going in so you can manage the sugar content. It’s also a good tool to use if you need to use up any extra produce.

KitchenAid Stand Mixer

I don’t know how I ever lived without a KitchenAid mixer. It makes everything so much easier! An absolute kitchen staple.

All Clad Pans

Pans are another great investment. I was recently gifted an entire set from All Clad for the holidays, and they are the best. You can find them at Williams Sonoma.

Le Creuset Cast Iron Dutch Oven & Stoneware

The holy grail of cookware. The best part? The stoneware is chic enough to serve out of, and I often use it when entertaining as well.

Butcher Paper

I use butcher paper for everything. Baking, wrapping up leftovers, and even for craft time!

Glass Pyrex Storage containers

We meal prep a lot at our house so keeping things fresh is a must. Glass pyrex containers are a classic and can be easily stuck in the dishwasher. I even use them to take on the go. I always just buy mine on Amazon.

Ikea

Ikea doesn’t just have good budget-friendly decor and furniture, they also carry some pretty chic dishware. Their simple white plates and bowls look way more expensive than they actually are.

West Elm

They have modern, simple, and stylish plateware, cutlery, table linens, and often great bowls. They also have slightly trendier plates at good prices if you are looking for something a little different.

Target

The same goes for Target. I love their selection! They carry both classic dishware and some fun designs that can be used seasonally.

Bed Bath & Beyond

The perfect store if you want to score budget-friendly fine china. Many of the dishes come separately so you are able to mix and match.

Eco-Friendly Kitchen

This brand carries 100% bamboo dishes that are completely biodegradable. I use the plates, bowls, and cutlery a lot when I’m entertaining. They are light and disposable, like regular paper plates, but eco-friendly and look a bit classier. You can find them on Amazon or at a grocery store like Whole Foods.

Stainless Steel Straws

I try to stay away from plastic as much as possible so these stainless steel straws come in handy. I even stick them in the kids juice boxes as a replacement! I bought mine at Crate & Barrel but you can find at stores like Target, too.

Luxury Kitchen Linens

Caravan Napkin Set

My rule of thumb is to always have a set of great napkins that will go with any type of tablescape. Their classic laundered linen sets are a favorite.

White Bark Workwear Organic Aprons

Cooking gets messy especially if you are including your kids into the mix. I like these aprons because they are durable and naturally antimicrobial so you don’t need to wash as much. It’s just going to get messy again anyway!

Fog Linen Kitchen Cloths

Another chic brand. I love the look of a classic linen kitchen cloth especially when serving or entertaining.

Williams Sonoma

ALL of my dishcloths that do the dirty work are from Williams Sonoma. They are honestly the best. I’ve washed them a million times for years on end and they are still holding up.

Bed, Bath, & Beyond

For an even MORE budget-friendly option, Bed Bath & Beyond’s microfiber kitchen towels are great. They are also helpful to dust with around the house because they absorb everything.

Specialty Kitchen Items for Children

Planet Lunchbox Bento Boxes

We love a good Bento Box at our house! It’s an eco-friendly option and also easy to stick in the dishwasher. Get them on Amazon or Planetbox.

Skip Hop Plates & Bowls

A fun animal plate is definitely a good way to get your kids to come to the table. They are all dishwasher safe which makes life a whole lot easier.

Lollaland Lollacup Sippy Cups

These sippy cups are valve-free which means that even kids as young as 9 months can drink from them. The Lollacup is a total lifesaver when you are trying to wean your little ones from a bottle. I buy mine at either Amazon or Buy Buy Baby.

Zoku Mod Pops Popsicle Molds

Trust me, all popsicle molds are not made alike. I have tried them all and these are the very best. We make popsicles non-stop in the summertime. These molds are practically mess-free and freeze quick!

Zoli Snack Containers

A genius product! These are stackable containers so you can carry up to 6 different types of snacks in one. The Zoli is always in my diaper bag!
