How To Create A Festive Winter Tablescape
As many of you who follow me know, entertaining and design are two of my greatest passions and joys in life. I love having friends over, getting great food and opening up some incredible wine! When I told my go-to party planner, Stefanie Cove what I was planning, she insisted that I contacted Alison Franchi from La Petite Gardenia to do my tablescape.

How To Throw A Halloween Tea Party For Toddlers
Last week I decided to throw a little tea party for my Scarlett. Although we called it a “tea party” it was more of a “pumpkin decorating and cookie” party! In my book, Everyday Chic, we talk about throwing a party and it all stems from a theme. Well, today I’m going to share how we threw this event together with a simple idea that helped make this party come together.
WATCH: Fall Favorites
Ya’ll know how much I love my favorites… I feel like I’m constantly finding new items that I obsess over. Because I’m lucky enough to get sent tons and tons of product, I’m really careful about what I choose for my favorites because I’m only going to talk about something if I truly love it! So, with that said… today we’re talking ALL about my favorite products for Fall 2018.
Inside My Kids' Playroom
In our previous house, we didn’t have a playroom. Our living room was also the playroom. I’m sure a lot of you can relate! In fact, the train tracks and train that Grandpa Ray gave Brooks were pretty much permanently on the coffee table. Today, we're taking you inside the most fun room in the house: the playroom.
My Homes Over The Years
If I didn't have a career in acting and modeling, I swear I would have become an interior designer. I am beyond obsessed with the whole idea of buying and flipping homes... Drew & Jonathan Scott... I hope you're reading this. But in all honesty, interior design is my true passion.
Total Pantry Makeover
When it comes to healthy eating and meal planning, an organized pantry is key. I hired the absolutely amazing women behind the blog, website, and business the Home Edit (Joanna and Clea) to help me organize and beautify my pantry, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. Just looking at my new and improved pantry once we’d finished brought tears of joy and relief to my eyes. It wasn’t just because my pantry was suddenly glam (though that was great) but also because I could finally find things! And now I am saving money because stuff isn’t hidden behind other stuff, and I can see what I have, so pantry items are no longer going bad because they’re forgotten.
Scarlett's Room Tour
Kids’ rooms should be playful and reflect their unique personalities, but that doesn’t mean a room needs to be childish. Don’t forget, children’s bedrooms are part of the house. We chose sophisticated but whimsical lighting; light woods and color palette that blend with the rest of the house; and design details such as curtains, rugs, and art that are a reflection of our house’s overall design aesthetic. You should want to spend time in your children’s rooms.
The Dish On Decluttering
Organization is kind of like weight loss. Once you get your space organized, you suddenly feel lighter, like you have more energy for other stuff. But if you don’t have a plan to keep the weight off— or to keep things organized— it’s easy to backslide. I may be an obsessive cleaner by nature, but I still need a plan to keep things on track. Clea and Joanna, my ladies from the Home Edit, have spent countless hours helping me develop step- by- step strategies and systems for streamlining and organizing my home, which I am now going to share with you!
Thanksgiving Checklist By Pamela Salzman
Thanksgiving is a day that’s dreaded my many. However, it doesn’t have to be something you are afraid of. For those of you who refrain from hosting duties because of the stress you think will cause you… think again. Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be stressful! You can have fun with it… if you plan it far enough in advance. I know this guide is coming to you a week before the big day (sorry), but I really do think that my woman, Pamela Salzman (aka dinner party badass) gives some amazing tips on how to plan for the day of feasting.

A Rustic & Chic Fall Tablescape With Mimi Brown. I love a fresh floral arrangement more than anything. When I’m looking for inspiration, I always look to one person: one of my best friends and Everyday Chic influencer, Mimi Brown. Mimi has her own floral design studio in NYC and has created tablescapes for everyone from Zac Posen to Net-A-Porter and Goop.
A Chic & Spooky Entryway For Fall
This year for Halloween, it’s all about the entryway. Even if we don’t plan on entertaining, I love coming home everyday to a fun change of decor. I’ll normally play around with bright oranges and a warm color palette for the fall season but I wanted to switch it up this year with a cool metallic. The theme? Just as chic as it is spooky. The best part? It’s easier than it looks.

Take A Peek Inside My Home With Architectural Digest. I'm so excited to announce that my home tour with Architectural Digest is FINALLY OUT! I've literally been counting down the days. I love design. I always have. This house has definitely been a lot of work from start to finish but it's been a labor of love.
