1 Dress, 4 Ways For Pregnancy

When you're pregnant, it can be a struggle to find something that fits comfortably. It's even more of a struggle to find something you feel good in. During my first pregnancy, I was definitely not prepared when it came to maternity fashion. When I tried to just throw something on, I'd feel (and look) terrible. A total meltdown or cancelled plans usually followed.

That's when I realized I was making it WAY harder than it needed to be. To make it easier on myself, I began mapping out my outfits in advance and getting just the basics. I was able to find some key pieces that fit me perfectly which I could mix and match my regular clothes with.

This simple black dress can be found anywhere--at any store, at any price. I would definitely call it my biggest pregnancy must-have when it comes to clothing (some cute options: here, here, & here). It can be dressed up or dressed down plus it's super slimming (which always helps!) It doesn't even need to be purchased at a maternity store. If you find one you like, just buy a couple sizes up.

Here's how I've been styling my simple black dress throughout my pregnancy:

This is the epitome of comfort. I like to throw on boots with it.

I love a good flannel. Tie in the front or leave unbuttoned. I prefer to tie mine--it's a cute way to display your growing baby bump!

LOOK #3: A Black Bomber Or Leather Jacket

The perfect date night look. It looks sleek and chic yet took no effort at all. Simply amazing.

A dressed up version of the cardigan. Pair with black heels for a streamlined look.
