I can’t even tell you how much I enjoyed reading all the questions you submitted for my motherhood Ask Molly post. Getting to chat with you all is one of the things I love most about MollySims.com! I chose four fun questions to respond to this time…

1. I will be a first time mom in June and have been looking for strollers. We live between Miami and Europe. Do you have any you recommend? xx Natalia Natalia Schuller

Hey Natalia! I use two strollers. Use Orbit if you drive a lot—it’s a great system and it’s super safe. But note: The car seat is a little heavy. For traveling, I use the Bugaboo stroller with the Maxi-Cosi car seat. It’s so light and so easy. Brooks and I also love the Elks and Angels stroller insert called the Snuggle Pod. It will keep your baby really warm!

2. Hey! I'm due with Baby No. 1 in three weeks and while I’m excited, I'm also fearful of how my relationship with my husband will change. We've been together seven years and he's my best friend and lover. We share an incredible bond and I'd hate to lose that once my focus becomes primarily baby. Do you have any tips for keeping the romance alive while juggling poopy diapers? - Kimberleee

Hey girl! This is a good question. I hate to break it to you, but your relationship is going to change, but it might change for the better! Do the best you can and be communicative with your partner. Let him know how tired you are. Try to make time for your husband, and try to make time for him to bond with the baby on his own. And of course, FAMILY time is really important. It’s not easy, but you have to learn how to balance this new adventure. Congratulations!

3. My husband and I are talking babies and I was just wondering why you never see celebrities with stretch marks. The only person that has actually admitted to getting them is Jenny McCarthy. Did you get stretch marks and how do you keep them from coming? - Jennie

Hi Jennie! I actually got stretch marks when I was really young due to being a little overweight and growing at a rapid pace. (I got my height in 8th grade.) The best thing I can tell you is to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!  I swear by this secret belly butter recipe, and I also like Mama Mio Tummy Rub Oil and Bio Oil. Lather up, wear silk pajamas, and even though your bed might feel like a slip-n-slide, it'll hopefully do the trick.

4. I love following your blog because our son is also named Brooks (just turned four months!) :) I was just wondering what fun nicknames you have for your Brooks.Melissa Lewis

Brooksey! The King! Munkin! Beefy!

I hope you found some useful information in there, mamas!
