If there's one look to master for fall, it HAS to be leather. While the trend has been around for awhile when it comes to colder seasons, the unique part about the style this time around is that it’s not just leather. It's mixing leather accents with other fabrics, diving into different colors of leather and playing with leather in different outfits.
Whether you rock leather leggings, pants, a top, or a jacket, it’s a must to try out this fall. I paired a knit and leather Vince top with amazing Pre- Fall ’13 tie waist leather pants by Chloe for the ultimate leather on leather look. I love, love, love it. I would say there is such a thing as too much leather, but if you do it the right way it can be super, super chic.
This incredible knit and leather sweater is from an AH-mazing label called Line Knitwear. I’m OB-sessed with how it creates a 2-piece look, but it’s all one garment. I love the idea of a chunky sweater over leather, and with this piece you can achieve that look without the bulk. I want to say thank you to the AWESOME showroom in LA, Bollare, for introducing me to that fabulous brand!
Finally, the Keira Khaki Crop jacket from Rachel Zoe’s newest fall collection is to die for. It’s the ultimate go-to jacket to take your look from day to night. It’s so, so, so comfortable and instantly makes any outfit look chic in a really effortless way. All of these pieces would be great additions to any fall wardrobe!
