I hope you are all having a great day so far. As I am sitting here in my office, working feverishly on a host of different projects I just had a crystal clear realization: I’m working to pay for diapers.
Diapers are beyond a necessity with a baby. You need them like you need oxygen. That said, they are also ridiculously expensive! And the options! Figuring out the diaper game is almost as tough as picking the perfect name.
Do you buy name brand diapers? Organic diapers? Diaper subscriptions? Night time diapers? Pull-ups, velcro, stickers? Cloth? No, definitely not cloth. I cannot imagine the nightmare of washing Brooks’ dirty cloth diapers. With aloe infused? Scented, unscented? The list goes on.
I find myself going to the store to buy diapers like I used to do with milk. I’ll buy them in bulk thinking they’ll last me a few weeks and then the next thing you know, I’m headed back to Target to buy more. It is a never ending routine. My go-to diaper is the Huggies 7th Generation and Huggies Organic Sensitive. I also love The Honest Co’s eco-chic diapers. Diapers.com, honestco.com, target.com all offer overnight delivery for those of you who don’t want to leave the comfort of your house.
Do any of you have any great diaper ideas? What works for you and doesn’t? Advice wanted.
