They say spring is a time for change, a time for a fresh start and to try something new. Well, this year I definitely took that and ran with it.
One of the best ways to instantly change up your look is to change your hair color, and I thought, why not do something bold? So ladies and gents…I decided to go red! I’ve always wanted to dye my hair red, but I was nervous that it was going to fade too quickly. Don’t get me wrong, changing your hair color is fun, but the upkeep can be time consuming and super expensive!
That’s why I’m so, so, so excited to tell you my latest news! I’m partnering with Nexxus and their new line of hair products, Color Assure, just in time to change my tresses! Once I learned about this AH-mazing line of products I knew I could finally take the leap and dye my hair red. These products provide the ultimatecolor protection by repelling water and locking in vibrant color.
My favorite product has to be the Pre-Wash Primer! This is the first step in the product regimen. It’s super easy and so, so, so effective. All I need to do is pump some product into my hand and apply it to my hair before I shower - just several pumps just as I’m stepping into the shower. It actually creates a liquid barrier around each strand to help keep the water out and lock the color in. Next, I wash my hair with the Color Assure Vibrancy Retention Shampoo followed by the Color Assure Vibrancy Retention Conditioner. The last step is the Glossing Tonic. The great part about this spray is that I can apply it to either towel dried hair or styled hair. It’s that perfect finishing spray that will really give strands that extra boost and shine.
One thing I love about this line of products is that they make it easy. As a busy mom on the go, I’m so glad Nexxus’ new line is in my life. If you’ve ever considered making a bold color change, now you can without needing to stress about it losing its vibrancy and “just-dyed” look. Bring on the red locks for the near future!
