We took care of the mommas already, and now it’s time to take care of the daddies. I call my own dad “Big Daddy”, and since baby Sims-Stuber is almost here, I now have two Big Daddies to spoil with gifts on Father’s Day!
Big Daddy Sims is an avid golfer, so I got him personalized golf balls, which I know he’ll LOVE. And since my husband (Daddy Stuber), is due to be a dad any minute, I wanted to buy him something special for his new man cave, so I just put in a bid on a vintage Led Zeppelin poster (like this one):
I found this amazing site called LOVE IS ART that I’m now obsessed with. In the simplest terms, LOVE IS ART provides a kit for couples to create their own art while being – ahem- intimate with each other. You’re making art while you’re making love – how hot is that? And if you think about it, it’s kind of two gifts in one…
Rock ‘n roll prints are also great (like this one of Mick Jagger). You can find them anywhere from your local thrift shop to eBay. I find mine at this great website called Sonic Edition.
Guaranteed cool dad status! And I love this Gizmon iPhone Case– it has a detachable fish-eye lens and shutter button, plus it kicks up the photo quality and capability of the regular iPhone camera. And it’s cool looking – what’s not to like?
When in doubt, you can always turn to beer. This Krups and Heineken B100 Beertender pours each beer at the perfect temperature, and keeps your keg fresh for 30 days. Cheers to that!
