Let’s talk skin baby!
Skin is the very first thing people see and I will be completely honest, mine always hasn’t been the best. But thankfully, through the years I have not only learned how to manage my skin issues, but I’ve also learned a thing or two from makeup artists on how to make your skin look perfect.
Today, I’m going to share some of my favorite products and as well as my tips and tricks for flawless skin.
- Look for a concealer that minimizes blemishes and hides fine lines. It’s especially important to find one that doesn’t crease—otherwise it will look heavy or caked on.
- Go for a lightweight foundation. Use the lightest one you can that still successfully evens out your skin tone. You can also mix your foundation with a bit of radiance-boosting moisturizer, which helps to create a dewy finish. Applying foundation with your fingers, as opposed to with a brush, helps to create a more natural and less painted-on look. A beauty blender is also a great way to apply your makeup.
- Opt for a cream blush. The luxurious texture is best for emulating the glow of youthful skin.
- Don’t forget to apply highlighter, but steer away from ones that are too shimmery. Shimmer only where you want to catch the light, you don’t want to look like a disco ball.
