How’s everyone holding up on their 2013 resolutions? Drinking more green juice was top on my list of New Year’s goals, and I’m proud to say that I’ve been doing pretty well so far! Since juicing is one of the easiest ways to get your five servings a day, I try to start every morning off with a glass of my favorite green and clean concoction. If you’re wondering who has time to juice, here’s a little trick I learned: Right after you take your weekly trip to the grocery store or farmers market, portion your fruits and veggies into a week’s worth of Ziploc Baggies or Tupperware. That way they’re ready for you to just toss in the juicer! My go-to green juice recipe is below, but don’t be afraid to experiment. Beets, carrots, spinach, and romaine are other veggies that often make it into the mix in my kitchen.
