I’m lucky enough to have friends in the fashion industry who alert me to the best new brands and up and coming designers. In the interest of good style karma, I’m planning to use this knowledge and to share my fashionable secret intelligence with you on a regular basis.
First we discussed Ivory Row, which I hope you indulged in to prepare for winter. I've fully stocked up on their comfy cozy cashmere. Now I want to talk about another essential - jeans.
Recently, I was introduced to Frame Denim, a line that was created in 2012 by Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson. These jeans fit like a glove, hug in all the right places, and have quickly become my go-to pair. Barneys Fashion Director, Tomoko Ogura, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, and Miranda Kerr are all fans, so you know you'll be in good company when slipping into these jeans.
I know the struggle women go through when shopping for denim. It's next to impossible to find that pair of jeans ... you know, the one that seems like it was made to be worn by you. But I can promise you'll love, love, love this brand. It's a mix of LA and London - touching on heritage from the former and influence of the latter.
Want one more reason to love these jeans? I wore them while out and about in New York City recently and - as big as the city is, with as many people running around in it - I actually bumped into the founders of Frame Denim. If that doesn't prove the "meant to be" quality of these jeans, I don't know what would!
