[Caroline] On Being Divorced Not Dead

Molly & Mary Alice begin the episode by asking her about the making of her podcast, Divorced Not Dead. “I am from a very traditional family. I learned very young that you have to grab the first guy that asks you to marry him. We used to live to 50 and now we live until 100. You can’t possibly pick your husband when you’re 20. Life is chapters, and you have a choice. You’re not a tree. If you don’t like something. Move. And that was the start. Changing that narrative.”

[Caroline] On The Ladies of London

“I had no idea what she was stepping into,” explains Caroline. “Where I came from to be on reality TV was the lowest of the low. We couldn’t get into restaurants. In America, they’re like do come in, but not here. However, everyone understood it better when it came out. I’m not going to lie, it was petrifying. I only did it to improve my business. I turned it down for a year because I was a CEO, and I wanted to be taken seriously. Then they asked for the final time and I did it.”

[Caroline] On Her Travel Hacks

Molly asks Caroline what her travel hacks are. “I pack in looks and outfits. I see how many days and pack the outfits I need,” describes Caroline. “As for the airplane – I get batshit wasted on a plane. I drink in the lounge, and I drink on the plane. And then I take a silk pillowcase, lavender spray, my pajamas, socks, throw on a face mask, and sleep. People think I’m bat sh*t crazy.” Molly asks her favorite mask. Caroline shares she loves the face and neck mask from 111 Skin.

[Caroline] On Fashion

Caroline was a stylist in her past life and has a love for fashion. Mary Alice and Molly ask her some of her favorite designers. Caroline mentions that she, “loves Celia Kritharioti. She made my wedding dress. I also love Ronny Kobo, and I’m loving the Fendi Teddy Sandals. In Dubai, fashion is a lot like LA. It’s much more casual. I love wearing sweat sets. New York is more like London, and Dubai is much more similar to LA.”

“I love my bags. I think my children’s college funds are in my wardrobe.”

[Caroline] On Her Beauty Routine

“I don’t have a beauty routine. I sleep in my makeup. I know I shouldn’t. I’m horrible. But if I get my makeup done, I always want to make it last another day. I do love Sunday Riley and 111 Skin, and I get facials every 2 weeks. I honestly just do whatever my facialist tells me to do, but as for an everyday routine, I don’t have one.”

[Caroline] On Never, Not Divorced

“When you have kids you still have to do birthdays. I still need to ask him stuff – like which schools do they want to go to? And we can either do this the hard way or the nice way. At the end of the day, they are still kids and their ours. It’s a pointless fight.”

“Life is chapters. Don’t try to make it one long novel.”
