VIDEO: How To Achieve A Runway Makeup Look In Real-Life

When we were in New York for NYFW I noticed a huge makeup trend: high-pigmented pink eyeshadow on top of and under your eyes. I did this look when I went to the Zimmermann show because it was something I was obsessed with all week long. I know we’re in winter but I’m already looking forward to bright pastel makeup looks.

This runway look is not subtle at all, but I updated it a bit so we can wear it in real life without looking crazy. I also took some inspiration from the Ulla Johnson show with their hot pink mascara and did a more natural twist. I hope you guys like it!

See how I got the look below:

Shop the products I used:

bareMinerals Gen Nude Powder Blush in “Call My Blush”

Morphe M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush

L’Oreal Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara in “Deep Burgundy”

It’s honestly such an easy look that can be created in just a matter of minutes. The trick for the eyeshadow is to sweep some blush or shadow underneath your bottom lashes. This will give you that extra “pop.” I’ve been doing this a lot lately with browns and neutrals for the fall, but I’m really looking forward to playing with more colors in the spring!
