Chic + Silky Holiday Party Look

The holiday parties are among us and I don't know about you guys, but I'm already running out of looks! In a recent fashion blog, I mentioned how you can mix textures while wearing a monochromatic look. Today, we're talking about mixing silk with a sweatshirt for a chic holiday party look.

I don't know about you guys, but I am not relaxed during the holidays. I'm constantly chasing my crazies around the house, picking up wrapping paper and making sure my food isn't burning. If there's one thing I can control, it's my comfort. Which is why I am pairing a Simon Miller cozy sweatshirt over my Nili Lotan cami slip dress to ensure I'm comfortable yet still looking chic. I love mixing textures to really give it an effortless look.

You can wear this look with a pair of heels, or honestly even a pair of really cool tennis shoes. Just depends on what your style and occasion is. I chose to dress it up with these Celine heels but if it was more of a casual day I would choose these from Rag & Bone. I've had these Celine heels for awhile but I found a similar pair here
