As the leaves turn, so does our wardrobe. In LA, we're finally bringing out the sweaters and boots and momma is beyond excited! I’d have to say that the one color that I'm wearing the most right now is Army Green! Not only is it the color for fall, but it’s Pantone’s color of the year!
I don't know what it is but it looks good on every skin tone. But you definitely need to pick the right shade of army green for your skin tone. Generally, those who are pale or fair, like myself… we do well with dark hues to contrast their skin. Like, the sweater and jacket I wore in the photos below, they really compliment my skin tone and it’s the right shade for me.
For those who have olive or medium skin, they can wear almost any color (can you say beyond lucky?!). However, if you have olive skin, avoid shades that are too close to your skin tone, like olive green for instance.
Lastly, if you have a darker complexion, you can also wear pretty much any color. Stick to bold and bright colors like jade green.
Not only does this color look good on almost everyone, but it also works as a neutral. It’s so versatile with any look and compliments every outfit. Best of all, there’s so many insane sweaters, jackets, and blazers that are totally on trend with this color.
