How To Make Homemade + Healthy Baby Food

I’ve been making homemade baby food since Brooks was born. It’s easy, delicious, and extremely cost efficient.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup washed and sliced white part of a leek
  • 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 4 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups chicken stock

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1: Saute the leek in the butter until softened. Add the chicken to the pan and saute for 3-4 minutes.

STEP 2: Add the vegetables, pour in the stock, bring to a boil, and cover. Simmer for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.

STEP 3: Puree in blender to your desired consistency.
