Fresh Berry & Cream Popsicles For The End Of Summer

We love popsicles at our house. I’m not a huge fan of the sugar high my little ones get after eating them store bought, though. Many of them are filled with sugar and definitely not the natural kind. That’s why I like to make my own from fresh fruit! It’s still as satisfying and they never know the difference.

That’s why I like to make my own from fresh fruit. It’s still as satisfying and they never know the difference. Plus, it’s a good way to sneak in some fruit if you’re children are picky eaters.

I’m sharing one of our favorite homemade recipes right now on my YouTube channel:

Fresh Berry & Cream Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 1 (10-ounce) bag frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries), thawed
  • 1 tablespoon organic agave nectar
  • 1 (1-ounce) package sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix
  • 2 cups skim milk

Directions:

1. Make the pudding according to package directions.

2. Blend the thawed fruit in blender with the agave until smooth. If you want a completely smooth texture, strain the pureed fruit through a fine sieve.

3. Pour the popsicle molds halfway with the berry puree, then the other half of the way with the pudding.

4. Freeze the popsicles for 8+ hours. Once frozen, gently pull popsicles out of mold and serve. Enjoy!
