Globetrotting: Amazing Places to Take Your Momma

The relationship between mother and daughter is truly a beautiful thing. I cherish all of my moments with my momma.  She and I both love to travel and visit new places, especially together.  So to round out our week of celebrating our moms, we at Team Sims wanted to share a few of our favorite locales around the world that we think would be incredibly fabulous to share with your own mommy dearest.

New York

Eataly

This giant gourmet market is a food lover’s fantasy come true. Bustling and full of energy, Eataly is sure to awe any mom. They even have a huge olive oil section that is divided by each region of Italy! As an added bonus, there is a rooftop restaurant and brewery called, Birreria. Great food and drink in a lovely rooftop venue.

Los Angeles

Salt Air

A few blocks from the ocean, this culinary bright spot is nestled on the tre chic shopping and eating street of Abbot Kinney.  Would be a perfect meal after stroll with your mom along the famed canals.  Abbott Kinney is one of LA’s newest hotbeds of cool and Salt Air keeps it fresh with its evolving menu and delicious cocktails.

London

The Booking Office

This place will make you feel like a kid en route to Hogwarts, which happened to be filmed in the very spot!  Your mom will love the beautiful renovation of this gorgeous hideaway, while you will appreciate the gin martini.  Nosh on traditional bacon wrapped sausage or walk a few feet over and hop on over to Paris via the Eurostar at St. Pancras Station.

Paris

Café Marly

A world-renowned brasserie with a gorgeous view of the Louvre pyramid.  Nestled in the courtyard of the Louvre, this is a gem your mother is sure to love.

San Francisco

Japanese Tea Gardens

Originally created as a “Japanese Village” exhibit for the 1894 California Midwinter International Exposition, this historic tea garden located in Golden Gate Park is a perfect place to bring mom for a cup of tea.

Washington DC

Bistro Cacao

Feminine French bistro. Hands down the best breadbasket in the country! The food is delicious and their interiors leave you feeling warm and cozy.
