A Flower By Any Other Name

molly sims rose products

Ladies, it is no secret that I love to shop but what I truly love is gift giving. We all know sometimes there just isn’t enough time before that soiree to pick up the perfect gift. So I’m here to tell you how to spoil the ladies (best girlfriend, sister, mother-in-law) and come out smelling like roses without the torture of scouring the shops.

Roses are one of my favorite flowers.  (Don’t be jealous, peonies, Mama still loves you!!)  Roses are traditional, chic and smell incredible.  Speaking of smell, Jo Malone’s rose water and vanilla spray is AH-mazing and would be absolute perfection to give as a gift. Rose water has been used for centuries medicinally, in culinary preparations and for perfume.  It is an anti-inflammatory and a great source of antioxidants, which makes me love, love, love this Mario Badescu facial spray with aloe, herbs, and rosewater.  It is only $7 and a real skin saver.

For the menfolk, The Art of Shaving has this nice rose water hydrating toner. When I was in New York a few weeks ago, I came across these heavenly macarons filled with rose buttercream.  They are to die for and ship domestically so you can gift the ones you love or send some of these french yummies to yourself.  If your intended gift recipient likes to see the world through rose colored glasses, than this crystal perfume bottle is the ultimate present.  If you are having a day where the glass is half empty, pop on these rose colored aviators to give you an instant attitude adjustment!
