Healthy Eating: Banana Oat Cookies

One of my dearest friends, Emese Gormley, gave me this recipe.  She is an incredibly busy #Supermomma like all of us parents out there!! We all want to feed our babes healthy whole foods and sometimes that can be a difficult path to navigate both from a time and cost perspective.  Within that time component also is the culinary difficulty factor.  Momma can follow directions but who has the time or endurance for an overly complicated recipe?  Not me, that’s why this particular recipe is PERFECT and ticks all the boxes on being yummy, whole food ingredients and sublimely easy to make.  This is one of those foolproof recipes you couldn’t mess up if you tried.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed with a fork
  • 2 Tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 1/2 cups raw oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Mix ingredients together. Place rounded spoonfuls or use a small sized cookie scoop and evenly space on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-14 min
