Makeup Manual: Pretty in Pink
Now that you’ve got your Valentine’s Day ensemble down, it’s time to focus on the makeup. Eyes, lips or cheeks, I love pink makeup because it’s flattering on most skin tones and makes you appear soft and pretty. So try out this ultra-feminine beauty look for Valentine’s Day and I can almost promise you’ll be wearing it all spring too!
Try: A sweep of soft pink shadow over the eyelids. Pale shades are the most universally flattering.
Favorite products: Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Emerveille and Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill in Stone Pink
Try: Dusting pink blush on your cheekbones and over the bridge of your nose for an allover rosy glow. Even brighter shades deliver beautiful color to any skin tone.
Favorite products: Stila Convertible Color in Petunia and NARS Blush in Gaiety
Try: A neatly painted pink lip, peony-colored for lighter skin or a deeper pink for darker skin tones.
Favorite products: Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Pale pink and Tom Ford Private Blend Lipstick in Flamingo
What do you think of the all-pink look?
Love, Molly
