I’m from the South, so you know I love my football. But if there’s one thing I’m not crazy about, it’s feeling like I put on 10 pounds every time a game’s on. Most classic football-watching fare is loaded with calories and fat that we just don’t need. Pizza, wings, and Rotel Dip—save it for the Super Bowl and enjoy your Monday night ritual without the guilt! Give one of these game-changing snack foods a try instead…

1. Baked Sweet Potato Fries. They’re baked not fried, and higher in vitamins than their white-food counterparts.
2. Hummus. Hummus is high in protein and fiber, and goes great with raw veggies or whole-wheat pita.
3. Greek Yogurt Dip. Save some major calories and fat by replacing the sour cream or mayonnaise in your favorite dip recipe with non-fat Greek yogurt.
4. Air-Popped Popcorn or Pretzels. Either one is a smart alternative to greasy potato chips.

What are your favorite healthy snacks?

Love, Molly
