Fall Nail Trends At Olive & June

Fall is officially here and that means it’s time for a change. Change in weather, change in schedules, and…change in nail color, of course! I love having polished nails at all times. It truly makes me feel more put together and well, clean. The second I walk out of a nail salon, I feel like I can conquer the day!

During the summer season, I love painting my nails and toes in bright and sunny hues. From pale pinks to coral and tangerines, the colors match the season. For fall, I definitely knew I needed a little switch-up. I decided to stop into one of my favorite nail salons in Beverly Hills, Olive & June to check out some new colors to switch up my look.

I am absolutely OB-sessed with Olive & June as is everyone else in this town. Not only are their services amazing but the décor is to die for. It’s boutique yet beachy design atmosphere makes you feel perfectly pampered. To top it off, Olive & June also carries all-natural creams and scrubs to complement the eco-friendly polish colors. I’m in LOVE with the Ojai sugar scrub they use.

Okay, so back to the color. Like I’ve said before, picking a polish is a process for me. It’s usually a direct reflection of how I feel, or how I want to feel. Your nail color can really send a message! It can be sexy or sweet or somewhere in between. I decided to try out a few fall colors because, like I said … it’s a process!

Here are some trendy fall colors that I’m OB-sessed with this season:

Nars | Dark Room:

This navy blue reminds me of a luxe pair of denim jeans. It’s a definitely a new take on the standard vampy dark nail. It’s still chic without being too heavy and looks great on all skin tones!

Similar Colors: Butter London’s Royal Navy, Zoya’s Ibiza, and Deborah Lippmann’s Rolling In The Deep

RGB | Tropic:

I’m not going to lie. When I first saw this green polish, I was a little worried it might look a little “blah” when applied. I was proven SO wrong! This creamy, lush rainforest green is absolutely perfect. Plus, this brand is literally “green.” It’s eco-friendly and five-free which means it’s free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, and formaldehyde resin. All chemicals that make nail polish unhealthy for us (especially for all the pregnant supermommas!)

Similar Colors: Jin Soon’s Metaphor, Essie’s Stylenomics, and Dolce & Gabbana’s Wild Green

Flower | Berry Begonia:

This rich berry color is absolutely perfect for a fall transition. Especially when red is too much but pink is too summery. Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore absolutely nails this color! It’s the perfect shade of berry bliss. I’m also a huge fan of her brand; it’s affordable and cruelty free!

Similar Colors: Essie’s Berry Naughty, 100 Pure’s Tarte and Butter London’s Ruby Murray

Nars | Libertango:

When it comes to an orangey red polish, it can be hard to find the perfect shade. Some are way too red while others are way too orange. Well, Nars Libertango is literally the perfect mixture of both! The polish’s burnt orange hue is perfect for fall without being too flashy.

Similar Colors: OPI’s Chop-Sticking To My Story, Essie’s Alligator Purse and Deborah Lippmann’s Brick Red
